Meet The Team
Having worked in a large industry all his life, the progression from shipbuilding (nuclear submarines and warships) and nuclear power stations to oil and gas fields (around the globe) was a challenging one.
He then spent the next 27 years, diving in many parts of the world, with many of those years spent living inside steel diving chambers for several weeks at a time.
His career came to a sudden halt in December 2013 when he suffered a stroke. Fortunately, he had already invested and built up two successful companies, one being a portfolio of properties and the other a plastic wholesaling business (selling containers, jars and accessories).
He incorporated the plastics business in 2011, becoming the managing director and dealing with the financial aspect of buying stock from the Far East and therefore dealing in FX pairs.
This gave him an insight into the markets and having met Steve (who became his business consultant), they started to trade the markets together, Steve having had quite a few years trading under his belt at this stage.
They then embarked on building a company together (HARKO) with an emphasis on education and helping others to avoid the many pitfalls that can and do befall many traders.
Stephen began his career in the defence industry in 1980. Later moving to direct programmes in transportation, nuclear energy and central government, spanning multiple countries. These programmes required a keen eye on foreign exchange as resources were often sourced on a global basis. By 2000 Stephen was heavily involved in foreign exchange trading to manage risk on capital programmes. This struck an interest in trading in his private life and he started trading for himself in the early 2000s.
Over the years Stephen developed his craft trading, making many mistakes along the way and developing and testing strategies that would become a system that can now be implemented in numerous markets with a high probability of consistency and success.
On meeting Glenn, a man of very similar outlook in life, drive and ambition to help others, they decided to combine forces to help teach others how to trade successfully.
A very experienced business manager with over 25 years of international experience in heavy industry and the hospitality business. This spans numerous countries across Europe and the Americas. Helen is client-focused with a keen interest in the markets and is a day trader herself, and so speaks the language and understands the issues day traders face.
